Here comes the second part of my Shanghai Haul!

But before that...

I got my ears pierced! My paranoid parents wouldn't let me get one until I turn 18 lol, its still in the process of healing so it hurts a little Photobucket

Anyways, I was able to get my hands on a few things that weren't available in New York. Most of them are either wayyy over priced (Uh, 30 dollar for a tube of mascara ? Photobucket No thanks!)  or they only came in selected types. So, since they are all manufactured in Asia, the price is a lot cheaper in comparison Photobucket

OK! Let's start with a product that is super popular right now. BB cream!

Beauty bloggers everywhere had some sort of definition for this product. So I won't post a whole essay about it but I'll give a small introduction. BB cream, or AKA the Blemish Balm Cream first started in Germany. A few Korea celebrities started using this product and well, a star was born! The texture of a BB cream is light like a moisturizer but covers like a foundation. Though unlike foundations, BB cream actually contains properties that could help to whiten your skin, lighten your acne scars and also help improve wrinkles. All the while making you face look natural and glowy.  Sounds nice? It is! Photobucket

Only recently did I start using BB creams, and boy do I regret not using this earlier. The downside was that where I live, each bottle of BB cream cost about 40 - 60 dollars. Photobucket  In china? Approximately 18 dollars. . . I grabbed it immediately haha. Photobucket

The BB Diamond Collection: The prestige BB cream
Wrinkle Improvement
Whitening
UV protecting SPF 25 PA++

This BB cream is a shade lighter than my face, but that's because it has diamond power and jewel complexion powder infused in the cream. Which when used on cheeks, forehead or chin can help highlight and brighten the face.

Majolica Majorca : Lash Enamel Glamour Volume On Mascara
(Yes this is the 30 dollar tube of mascara I was talking about.)

The comb like applicator kind of reminds me of cockroaches...maybe it's because I saw too many cockroaches in china? Photobucket

Dolly wink: Liquid Eye liner in Deep Black

Finally able to replace my old one, this is my favorite eyeliner!

Bobbi Brown Kabuki brush

Now, I don't know if Bobbie Brown ever came out with this type of Kabuki brush before. But for as far as I know, he never did. This was placed next to a real Bobbie Kabuki brush that I picked up, but the sales lady talked me into getting this one instead. Since it was cheaper and her reason sounded pretty convincing, I went for it. I'm not angry or upset because I only paid like 6 dollars for it, and the quality isn't actually that bad!

The brush is very dense, and super super soft. It also picks up my powder fairly well and does a good job buffing it into my skin. The only downside is that it smells really gross, but I am hoping it goes away after a while.

So I didn't become a mask junki up until early this year, but of course the same problem as the mascara, they are pretty expensive. Those masks were just a few that I grabbed out of my suit case, there's still a whole hand full left out.  And that just means, MASK REVIEWS! I'll be doing reviews on each and everyone of these, after I finish posting all of my hauls.

Chocolate Truffle - Moisturizing & softening the face YUm! Photobucket

Earl Grey Tea & Macaron - Illuminating & clarifying the face
I haven't tried this one yet but I smelt it when my cousin tired it, and its super sweet Photobucket

Aloe Vera

Japanese cherry blossom

Strawberry Yogurt (yum again!)

Apple Polyphenol

Hydrangea

Orange blossom

Next up will be nail products! I got these beautiful silver flakes, they are great for gradient nail designs or if you're up to it, sparkly french nails Photobucket

They were also selling these mini O.P.I polishes, so cute I couldn't resist picking them up. They were only 2 dollars for 3!

I was going to give them all to my friend as a souvenir, but I ended up really liking the sparkly one so I kept that one hehehe Photobucket

Oh I almost forgot, I also had my nails done while I was there! They were also really cheap Photobucket  oh, how I wish NY is like that. It was fun though, my first time doing gel extensions, now I can abuse my nails however I want without worrying about breaking them ~ Photobucket

And that was an extremely long post! Photobucket  All of these items will be up for review as soon as I finish posting everything I bought. I'll even try out doing my first nail tutorial.

Bye bye! Photobucket

P.S. Next up is FOOD! Get a towel ready because some of them are known to increase saliva production. You've been warned!

Shanghai Trip ☛ part 1 ☚ Jewelry

Posted by Reilalala at 1:19 AM 0 comments
I am back from my trip to Shanghai!

I haven't updated ever since the drugstore post so I will make up for that, by sharing all the stuff I bought in China!

In Shanghai, the underground subway isn't just for subways. When you get out from the trains and walk a few turns, you will arrive at an underground shopping center. Most of the stuff are pretty cheap, but you must always remember this one rule. Haggle! Photobucket

Since there're huge amount of items, I'm going post them in sections for the sake of being neat Photobucket ~

The jewelries I received on this trip were all given to me by relatives. Which was good since all the jewelries are pretty expensive Photobucket

This is a beautiful jewelry box given to me by my aunt. Not quite sure what kind of material it's made of, porcelain, maybe? Photobucket It's pretty heavy. It felt heavier when I found the price, a flipping 60 dollars! Photobucket

This necklace was also given to my by my aunt. The detail in the flower is absolutely amazing, but the sad thing is gold looks terrible on me! I guess this will just be sitting in a box until sometime in the future Photobucket

This ring was a set with the necklace, but of course again, its in gold. . .

This necklace however was my favorite piece out of all the jewelries I've received Photobucket The turquoise stones are really beautiful, I've been search high and low for an accessory with a true turquoise color and now I don't have to anymore! Photobucket Also, instead of a chain, the stones are connected with a thin strand of black and gold string. Which is a plus for me since I'm allergic to metal, and I can wear this for as long as I want without worrying about my skin getting irritated Photobucket ~

The necklace would go really well with a loose white t shirt!

\

Although this bracelet is gold, the black elastic bands on the side kind of balanced it out. It looks okish on my skin.

And we're coming down to the last one. I love this one just as much as I love the turquoise necklace haha. My other aunt owns a boutique shop, and she invited me down to pick out some items that I liked. She was SO generous! As I tried on outfits, she was running around finding accessories for me. I felt a little guilty since she didn't want me to pay for any of them, but this bad boy right here, I had to take home no matter what.

Isn't it gorgeous?! Photobucket I've always wanted a big dramatic centerpiece in my closet, but of course I'm super picky and have a small wallet hehe..

So that is all for now! I feel really spoiled during my time there, but I guess since this is the first time I went back in 7 years.

In the next posts I will be sharing: clothes, beauty products, and Mics. Bye bye now! Photobucket
